Who we are

Larry was born and raised in the Galápagos, exploring the islands by boat with his father, a local captain. That early connection to the land and sea shaped his lifelong passion.

With over ten years in tourism, he now helps travelers experience the Galápagos with care, respect, and wonder.

Katrina first came to the Galápagos in 2012 through an ecology-focused study abroad program. She returned in 2019 to teach English, met Larry shortly after, and has called the islands home ever since.

Since then, she’s explored the archipelago inside and out, guiding friends, family, and now clients through thoughtful, sustainable trips.

Together, they started Galápagos A Mano Expeditions to share their love for these islands and help you experience their magic — responsibly, authentically, and effortlessly.
