Itinerary highlights:
Departure from hotel or meeting point – You’ll be picked up from your accommodation or meet the guide and group at a designated location.
Transfer to Itabaca Channel – Once the group is ready, a private bus or taxi will take you on a 35 or 40-minute ride to the Itabaca Channel, where you’ll board the boat.
Boat ride to Bartolomé – Enjoy a scenic boat trip across the Galápagos waters to Bartolomé Island. The journey takes about 2 to 2¾ hours, depending on the boat and conditions.
Hike to the summit – Disembark and follow a short wooden trail leading up stairs to the island’s summit. From here, enjoy stunning views of Pinnacle Rock and the surrounding landscape. Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife such as sea lions, marine iguanas, and blue-footed boobies.
Snorkeling and beach time – After the hike, relax or snorkel at Sullivan Bay or Playa Dorada (“Golden Beach”), where you may swim with sea turtles, white-tip reef sharks, and occasionally Galápagos penguins.
Return trip – Board the boat for the journey back to the Itabaca Channel, then transfer to your hotel or original meeting point.
